The joy of being an anime fan in the beginning was the not knowing. The wild hunt for the next big thing. finding out the unknown through half cocked sources and uninterested third parties. Now in 2015- almost 2016, a few clicks away and anyone can be a pro.

Watanabe>Wanabe

Slayers movies 1-5, great art great soundtracks but they came from fucking light novels. Back when i was clueless i enjoyed anime a lot more. Slayers is nothing more than a cheesy nostalgia romp. The shows still hold up. The cinematic presentation is simply unmatched. New Japanese anime will never again look or feel this way. Newer stuff tends to be soulless by design.

Evolution and Revolution R were amazing but seriously not enough. Bring back Slayers!

Xabungle and Dougram

 Finally got Xabungle in full. Its a mecha western with a shit ton of walk cycles. Been after this for a while.

Dougram is more of Tomino esc Gundam. Even Tomino could never capture what his own 0079 story did.

WiiU

I sold my WiiU the get an xbox one a while back. I don't regret it but I do miss the tablet. I drew 1200 pics in one year.
